so often i forget my skimmer on the manual on..(when doing tank maintaince i turn it on manual on otherwise it is flipping on and off while i am playing with water levels) . then few days later the skimmer cup gets full... the float switch is activated.... and skimmer keeps pumping onto the ground.... (because it is in manual on instead of Auto) lol... so i have a theoretical outlet that test if the skimmer is in auto or on... and if it is in manual on then i get a text message at 10 pm.... lol
How it works:
apex turns off the skimmer for 3 minutes every day at a set time (10:00 or whatever) during that time the theoretical outlet checks to see if skimmer is off or on... if skimmer is still on then email alarm is tripped (if skimmer is in manual on mode then the skimmer will still be on!)
