Jerry the Peacock Mantis (named by my daughter lol)
I want to thank Shawn from UTS for this fine specimen, had to rework my plumbing and sort an old refugium for his home.

very nice. I remember (one of) your old ones, nice and big, I think he died molting if I recall. I have one in a 20G plumbed in line, used to think he was a peacock but now not so sure. He doesn't come out much and is under blue light to control the algae growth...

Yes I have had a few Peacock Mantis over the years unfortunately once they get 7 -8 inches long they tend to get stuck in their molts and do not survive.
Good Iodine levels is the best to minimize this happening also your softies love it, the iodine will dissipate very quickly in the water column so needs to be monitored to keep levels up.
