    ORP Probe

    I was just wondering if anyone collects ORP values. If so, do you find it useful. I was thinking of adding a ORP probe to my setup, and if it would be worth the money spent.

    I have heard Bumble Bee snails can be used as control if they are introduced early enough. Has anyone had any luck using them?

    Watch your ammonia and nitrate levels. You likely have no beneficial bacteria left.

    It is hard to tell with distortion from the jar and the accumulation of algae(?) on the shell..But it almost appears that you have a Vermetid snail, judging by the tube and your description. Seal up the opening of the tube with crazy glue. They can be bad news and they reproduce quickly.
