I’m picking up a fish this weekend. The owner has it at 0.013 my Qt is at 0.020. What’s the best way to acclimate it? I’d like to introduce the tang to my reef eventually 1.025. Any recommendations are welcome. Thank you.

well, in my experience the best way is to QT it in a tank without fresh water top-off, it will rise slowly and naturally. Might take a couple of weeks, but you can quicken it with small water changes using tank water at sea level salinity. I don't typically QT as long as many recommend, but I find a few weeks in a separate tank for observation and to fatten up free from competition usually helps.
