So with the overflow of the tank and the frag tank springing a leak I decided on moving Jerry to a new home, I had a 24" hang on CPR Refugium.
Whilst in the transfer I removed his rocks only to find he had recently molted.

The interesting thing was the tank over flow was caused by Jerry not eating his dinner (Snail) it was a few days later when I took a closer look that both Jerrys hammers were missing, not sure if it was a natural defect or that they had be removed upon capture and transportation.
So!! the good news is with Jerry's molt he regrew his hammers!!... yipee! now he can move onto solids, Crabs and snails,
So, if anyone has any unwanted gorilla crabs or such like I will gladly take them and video the mayhem that some of us have witnessed in the past, it takes a Mantis seconds to smash the appendage's off a crab two blows and the claws are removed one per strike quite amazing to watch. I will post the video here for all to see.

Tony, that aquarium looks way too small for a mantis that size. You need to upgrade!
