That's definitely a biggie. I never replaced my turbos when they died, great for algae but quite disruptive to corals. I stick with astreas now. And Ocean Abyss, I remember stopping by their garage store on my way home from work in Hamilton....

So... I git tired of fighting ph. (And my wife is super sensitive to co2. ) she gets headackes within .5 hrs of closing up the house.
In screenshot below... you can see daily peeks of ph.
The first four is with windows open.
Then at the black indicator is where I closed the windows then you can see its low until I open the windows again.

I thought about one of these myself a few years back, decided to install 2 heavy duty bathroom fans instead to vent my fish room. Seems to be working fine but it probably explains the heavy draft I feel around the door and my exterior way electrical outlets. Air needs to come in somewhere I guess.

Today i recieved an error from my KHG, it ran out of reagent. i mixed a new batch, and re calibrated.... and delete the log file from the last reagent....
i love this unit.... i just got 3 months out of the last reagent.
keeping it at 4 hours test interval.(maximum setting) and keeping my alkalinity at 8 ish... (less reagent required for lower alk)
so it is realistically costing me $10 per month in reagent.... that isn't bad!
